Independence Day can mean different things to different people. Take former U.S President George W. Bush and current U.S. President Barack Obama, for example. While both have served as elected leaders of this country, their perspectives on the Fourth of July are varied.
Their Independence Day posts on social media are very telling.
Here is Obama’s official Facebook page:
And his Twitter account:

Kind of vague, don’t you think?
George W. Bush, on the other hand, had this to say:
So while one man focuses on the fireworks and flag, another remembers the men and women who made (and continue to keep) America’s freedom a reality.
The response they got on Facebook make it clear which post was more popular. As YoungCons pointed out:
George W. Bush’s post has nearly twice as many likes as Obama. It’s even more amazing when you think about how Obama has 41.5 million likes on Facebook, and George W. Bush has 3.5 million likes. That speaks volumes.
Kinda makes you think… Doesn’t it?
