“If I were to see the case of a boy aged ten or eleven who’s intensely erotically attracted toward a man in his twenties or thirties, if the relationship is totally mutual, and the bonding is genuinely totally mutual…then I would not call it pathological in any way“-Professor Emeritus (Johns Hopkins U.) sexologist Dr. John Money
Rather than expose the cycle and consequence of sexual abuse , what ‘political correctness’ actually does is discredit, discount, and redefine these realities in favor of normalization and indoctrination that only adds to the frustration and confusion of those personally affected by such victimization. Is it a stretch to say that radical progressives who promote the queering of society and the ‘rights’ and ‘recognition’ of sexual preference are providing cover to those with a tendency to molest? Could this actually be one of the ‘intended’ consequences of such efforts?
Let’s consider both the pedophilic and homosexual aspects of the ‘Free Kate’ saga.
As reported by “The American Spectator’s” Robert Stacy McCain,
the case involves Kaitlyn Ashley Hunt, an 18-year-old in Sebastian, Florida, who was arrested in February after admitting that she had a lesbian affair with a 14-year high-school freshman…Hunt was expelled from Sebastian High School — where she and the younger girl had sex in a restroom stall — and charged with two counts of ‘felony lewd and lascivious battery on a child.’…her supporters have organized an online crusade to have her let off scot-free — in effect, nullifying Florida’s law, which sets the age of consent at 16.
Using the slogan “Stop the Hate, Free Kate” (the Twitter hashtag is #FreeKate) this social-media campaign has attracted the support of liberals including Chris Hayes of MSNBC, Daily Kos, Think Progress and the gay-rights group Equality Florida….Portraying Hunt as the victim of prejudice, her supporters claim she was only prosecuted because she is homosexual and because the parents of the unnamed 14-year-old are ‘bigoted religious zealots.’
Most often, the perpetrator was once the victim – this is reality, folks! Many who struggle with sexual identity issues are those who were exposed or affected by some form of sexualization, incest/molestation, pornography, parental absenteeism, etc. during childhood/young adulthood – no amount of political correctness can discount these realities.
We live in a fallen world; whether it’s environmental or physiological, nature or nurture, our learned, acquired, or ‘natural’ sexual tendencies and/or dispositions need not define who we are!
First and foremost, we are spiritual beings with souls made for eternity ready to be moved by the potency of the Gospel via the Holy Spirit.
I am familiar with so many people, so many stories, so many scars…
God is ready and willing to take a tragedy and turn it into a trifle. When we overcome the evil and adversity of this world, the greater good received will make our victory and redemption that much sweeter!
Remember the sweet words of Jesus:
“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”
