As part of their all out assault voter protection laws, liberal groups argued before the Supreme Court Wednesday that even though every adult must produce a photo ID in order to fly (or even to enter the Supreme Court to hear the proceedings), producing such an ID before voting is an undue burden on the right to vote.
At issue is Indiana’s voter photo ID law which requires persons voting in person to present a government issued photo ID before they are allowed to vote (unless that person lives in a nursing home). Persons who do not have (or forgot) their ID can cast a provisional ballot and then have 10 days to either procure an ID or file and affidavit claiming indigence. The bi-partisan Commission on Federal Election Reform reports that voters in over 100 democracies world wide are able to exercise their right to vote under similar laws (such democracies include: Belgium, Cost Rica, Germany, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, South Africa, and Spain)…As Jonathan Bechtle details in his 2006 study “Voter Turnout or Voter Fraud?” a vast left wing conspiracy including George Soros, America Coming Together, ACORN, and People for the American Way spend vast resources registering as many potential anti-Bush voters as possible…
More recently, state prosecutors in Indiana announced 38 of the 42 people the prosecuted for voter fraud since 2003 have been convicted…
The real ‘myth’ is that photo ID laws are burdensome enough to actually prevent people from voting. The US District Court judge that examined the plaintiffs ‘evidence’ of disenfranchisement found it to be “totally unreliable.” The Heritage Foundation has also examined data from Indiana following implementation of the law and found:
- White survey respondents in photo identification states are 0.002 percent less likely to report voting than white respondents from states that only required voters to state their name.
- African-American respondents in non-photo identification states are 0.012 percent less likely to report voting than African-American respondents from states that only required voters to state their name.
- In general, respondents in photo identification and non-photo identification states are just as likely to report voting compared to respondents from states that only required voters to state their name.
- African-American respondents in photo identification states are just as likely to report voting compared to African-American respondents from states that only required voters to state their name.
- Hispanic respondents in photo identification states are just as likely to report voting compared to Hispanic respondents from states that only required voters to state their name.

A photo ID is not a burden to anyone who s an American citizen. All other are deliberately voting fraudulently.
It is not a surprise that all the phony voters wll vote for the marxist/muslim Bin Obama.
Of course – we need more illegal aliens and dead people voting for the party that promises to give them a free ride. Every voter must be required to prove who he is and why he is elligible to vote. Quite frankly, every voter should be required to prove what stake they have in the results (taxpayer, landowner, military veteran).
and doesn't it make you think that the person controlling the deceased vote is also getting their SS check for them! The fraud is deeper than just a vote. unfortunately!

Have to show photo ID for everything else,so why would it bother anyone to show it to vote? If it does they can always go home without voting.
They forgot a long list of other countries on that list including France. Most countries allow their citizens to vote ONLY with a photo ID. I don't see where the problem is. American citizens have either a driver's license or for those who do not drive, the DMV issues photo IDs. If one is not an American citizen, they should not be voting. Doesn't that make sense to the government ???
Not only should photo ID be required but so should registering to vote no later than a year prior to an election to give election officials enough time to verify registrants’ eligibility.
How do they get to drive a car are get a job if they do not have anykind of Photo ID do they show if they asked for one, All STATES should have a ID system .And all of the should go thur their voters records and removed any and all of the DEAD so they can not get too vote two are more time.As I know that a black woman where I am from she pickup peoples and took them to vote and she was standing with them and put their finger on which person to vote for she did this about 50 time.so really she got to vote around 50 time is this right I do not think so but its is going on and itswill be going on in the 2012 election again.If the person that are voteing should know who and what and how to vote on their owns ,are not too vote at all who fill out their forms when they go to get their welfare from the government.( SO either show a ID are you can not vote that should be the LAW of the USA )
This is just another BS ploy by the left to get more illegal votes. In a federal vote ALL should have to provide VALID state photo ID or VALID state birth certificate. NO short forms accepted.
The reason ID's are burdensome to the left because this is the way they committed fraud in 2008! Using dead people that didn't show up but some how got their vote in from the grave! Why the sam hill are we allowing this corrupted bs to go on I will never understand!
Fraud in the voting booth . We the people have over looked this voting fraud to long . I think we put
to much trust in our currant system . That is why our country is in the shape it is in .The Politics of this
great country has stollen the offices and cover up their own sin . So We the people can be controlled
and fleased . they think all is fair in love and war. . I believe there should a law passed where by ever
government employ , and that;s what they are , should be fired and or sent to fail if they do not ad hear
to their oath of office .
