The professional pundits seem to be in a hot lather for Governor Chris Christie. But count me as one of those that hasn’t drunk the Christie kool-aid. We will be covering his candidacy in detail if he decides to run, but my initial research doesn’t get me excited:
“Governor Christie’s nomination of Sohail Mohammed, an attorney to detained terrorist suspects, to a Superior Court judgeship in Passaic County. The Sohail nomination continues Christie’s unfortunate pandering to the American Muslim Union and the Islamic Center of Passaic County.
Passaic County has the second largest Muslim population in the country. And the Islamic Center of Passaic County is the state’s largest mosque, and it’s the only one run by an an Imam who was a member of the Hamas terrorist organization. But when the United States government attempted to deport Mohammed Qatanani, New Jersey’s pols and wannabe pols like Christie, quickly came to his aid. Despite the fact that Mohammed Qatanani was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, the organization that is behind both Al Qaeda and Hamas, despite his own guilty plea to being a member of Hamas, and despite the fact that even in the United States, he had defended a charity that provided funds to children of suicide bombers (this is done as an incentive to reassure terrorists that if they die their families will be taken care of), Qatanani was not deported….

I agree 100% – like some other pundit said, "Tell me again why I should like Christey."
Sure, he's a decent economist and isn't afraid to stand up to teachers unions, but what else does he have going that would make him even a consideration for conservatives? That small "r" behind his name is just that. Christey is a rino.
Exactly right. the press wants to flood the field, in order to drown out the only real choice, Ron Paul!
Yes, Dean, my dream ticket would be Ron Paul for President and Herman Cain for V.P.
Tomm…You appear to be a common sense individual…..I am curious though as to why you pick Ron Paul..After all, isn't he the one who said it was illegal to kill bin laden, and says it is none of our business and we should leave iran alone to develop the nuclear bomb????
He has also made some very questionable statements you need to look into…..
My ticket would be Herman Cain for President and Bachman for VP..Or Visa Versa….
My Positive best, Mr. Positive
Amen!!!!!!! Mr.Ken
When did the U.S. become the "World Police"? Our Forefathers specifically warned against foreign entanglements! How can we afford to police the world? Herman Cain worked for the Federal Reserve! That alone is enough reason for me not to vote for him! There is nothing Constitutional about the so-called "Federal Reserve" a privately owned bank which is no more Federal than "Federal Express"! There is nothing Constitutional about Cains taxation plan, which still includes the IRS.
Your statement is a half-truth, you sound like a Liberal. Ron Paul said we should get out of the business of policing the world. Leave Iran to itself, they can't even produce enough fuel for their own country. The closest thing they have to a launch vehicle is a bottle rocket. The killing of Bin Laudin was an unbelievably stupid thing to do. Our government had supported him with weapons and money (your money and my money) they also gave him the "go ahead" on invading Kewaite and then realizing their mistake decided he must go. After two wars and Billions of dollars, not to mention lives lost, they killed their ally to cover their own asses. Now tell me Ron Paul is wrong. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER OR GET LOST……………
The Obama campaign must have taught you well. I have to assume this is where you learned for you sound just like them. Twisting the truth and using misinformation in an attempt to detract.
What does this now say about the candidate you're backing? If this is the opinion of those who support Cain's presidency, I know who I won't be voting for.
I'm so relieved he decided not to run;now,if we could whittle the field down to Ron Paul,Herman Cain,Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin,we would have some really good Candidates. I'm not sure Palin SHOULD run unless more of the second string Candidates bow out. These four would be the best of our options.
And BTW,Ken;
Are you getting all your information from sound bites and you tube clips,or have you checked into his voting records to see what his track record is,what he actually believes in? The media has a long history of plucking one comment,or part of one,out of a whole discussion and using it out of context to make the person sound bad.,so unless I can hear the whole discussion,I don't generally put much stock in the sound bites.
Yes, thank you. I have done my research and know loud and clear that Gov. Christie is an pro-illegal advocate.
He has told everyone who is willing to listen that ,"he's not ready to run."
Here in the S/W ,we agree. We won't support any candidate that's pro illegal immigration on any level.
We still have ~400,000 illegals living in AZ sucking the warfare system dry plus all the added costs defending our border .AZ has made huges strides eliminating welfare costs but the fraud in the millions still exists.
As reported, 60% of all crack enters through our broken border system, and as reported, over 800 stash houses in PHX have been busted for the transfer of drugs and people. How could we support anyone from the East Coast that's so disconnected with the continued war of terrorism that is being fought in North America, and Christie also wants amnesty education programs, passing on all costs to working American families.
There in, is the true meaning of class warfare , that POTUS keeps mouthing off about.
To Christie, POTUS, his La Raza followers,Mayor Bloomberg, Gov. Brown and Rick Perry, we say; Bring it on!
There is no perfect person or candidate for the presidency. Perhaps Jesus will consider coming back and taking the job. Christie has skeletons in the closet just like everyone else, but his support of Muslims who are known terrorists or supporters of terrorism makes him a no vote for me even if he were to run. In addition, his appointment of a Muslim to the Passaic Superior Court is a huge NO NO.
Remember Scott Brown, that is what Christie is even worse. Coulter has been all cow eyed about Christie yet she never mentions his muslim ties, anti second amendment, and pro abortion beliefs.
So we will fight to keep our rights to bear arms, but at the same time, we fight to remove personal basic rights. How are abortion issues even on the agenda?
Whether you are for or against abortions doesn't matter. What does, however, is the removal of personal rights. I don't understand why it is acceptable to remove personal rights, but people will fight to the death to own a weapon. If you feel abortions are wrong, you have the choice not to have one. But why force your opinion on others with law?
Not to minimize the importance of life, but it's the same as anti-gun individuals. It is their opinion we have no rights to bear arms. What's the difference between them taking our rights to own guns or we take personal basic rights? It's a slippery slope when we start choosing which individual rights are removed.
I don't wish this to be an abortion fight. Legal or not, someone wants an abortion, they will have one as proven with the old "back alley" abortion clinics. I only wish for a thought of when we start removing rights, when and how do we stop and how far will it go? If you're curious, I'm pro-gun and anti-abortion.
