As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, millions of families across the nation will join together for food, fellowship, and, according to the Democratic National Committee, contentious political arguments with stupid Republicans.
The DNC recently launched the outrageous site YourRepublicanUncle.com, which it says will prepare leftists to rebut criticisms of Barack Obama by conservative relatives.
According to the site, Democrats will soon be facing “lively discussions with Republican relatives about politics,” explaining that their positions will sometimes be “laced with statements that are just not true.”
Considering the active role the DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz had in promulgating Obama’s repetitive lies regarding his healthcare plan, the committee should be considered an expert in “statements that are just not true.”
Nevertheless, this bitterly partisan website offers four categories of talking points – economy, healthcare, climate, and immigration – to use against the evil Republicans that infiltrate wholesome Democrat families.
Obviously, these lists are filled with the same propaganda one might hear at a White House press briefing. Perhaps more disturbing is the vitriol with which the DNC refers to the imaginary Republican uncle for whom the site is named.
In reference to climate, for instance, the debate is described as “97% of scientists vs. your Republican uncle.”
There are numerous other pejoratives and jabs directed at these “family members who spend too much time listening to Rush Limbaugh” included on the site. An invitation letter written by DNC Digital Director Matt Compton described the site as a resource for “information you need to answer a bonkers question” about Obama “or the perfect fact to respond to a ridiculous argument about the Affordable Care Act.”
Compton goes on to conclude that “nothing ruins a slice of pecan pie faster” than talking to a politically engaged conservative.
The website is mobile friendly, which means leftists won’t even need to leave the table to access half-truths and blatant lies regarding Obama’s disastrous presidency.
In the end, the only thing this initiative proves is that, given the proper motivation, Democrats actually can produce an operational website.
