A prominent Hispanic lawmaker is predicting that President Obama and a weakened Republican Party will strike a deal on immigration next year.
Rep. Luis Gutierrez said he’s received no promises from the White House that Obama would move quickly on immigration reform if reelected in November. But the Illinois Democrat said it’s a lock the president would use a second term to revamp the nation’s immigration laws.
Such changes have been a third rail in Washington for most of the last decade, as President George W. Bush couldn’t overcome Republican opposition to his comprehensive immigration reform plan.

When will people realize we don't need immigration REFORM, we need immigration LAW ENFORCEMENT!
The only deal that the republicans should agree to is how big of an airplane tey should use to ferry these illegals out and if they should be given parachutes to jump or push them out over Mexico.
NO reform/deal til WE get rid of ALL illegals, the fence is 100% completed and ARMED Border Patrols are stationed every 25 yds, facing south, along OUR side of the fence!!
Would you believe that Mexico is bitching about the numbers of illegals returning to their homes and costing them so much to care for?? Their own countrymen are placing a burden on them!! GOOD!!
WE have our own burdens without importing them from ANY country!!
WHY should WE tolerate them here??
