JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — A group that supports conservative Senate candidates is considering whether to toss a last-minute life preserver to Missouri congressman Todd Akin.

The Senate Conservatives Fund had shied away from Akin and remained neutral in last month’s Republican Senate primary.

  1. Get Akin in the Senate, he can always be replaced later if you like, with a more conservative, but if he misses the race it is all over.

    If Arkin was a democrat they would all be backing him not turning on him.Republicans are noted for turning on their own.Especially when you have an old buffoon white a white board leading them.Karl Rove is the democrats best friend.
