As if I needed another reason to crave an original chicken sandwich from my favorite fast-food establishment, Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy recently went on the record saying the company opposes gay marriage.
This chain is no stranger to backlash from the gay community, as some organizations have conducted comprehensive investigations into its ties to supposedly anti-gay groups. Previously, though, company execs have stopped short of actively opposing gay marriage.
In a series of events beginning with a radio appearance last month, Cathy, son of Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy, made some very direct statements about the company’s stance on marriage.
“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say, ‘We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage,’” he said during the radio interview. He continued by saying he prays for God’s mercy on America for its “prideful, arrogant attitude” toward the sanctity of marriage.
I’m sure Cathy realized how his comments would be portrayed by those endorsing the radical gay agenda. Obviously, there are numerous calls for boycotts, primarily on the company’s Facebook page, where there is no shortage of epithets hurled about. Many accuse the company of a “hate crime,” with at least one saying the company is “destroy[ing] other people’s lives.”
I’m not sure how a private business stating its opinion against gay marriage ruins lives. Facebook users flooded the Chick-fil-A page with pictures, ostensibly of homosexuals beaten because of their sexual orientation. Equating the expression of one’s moral convictions with physical assault is a tactic obvious to those on the right.
Morally bankrupt liberals must make hyperbolic arguments because to address situations such as this honestly would expose their anti-liberty positions. I guess it’s fitting this story broke at approximately the same time the third-highest ranking Democrat Senator was calling for limits to American’s freedom of speech.
The left seems to be saying a company should not express views on social issues such as gay marriage. Funny, I don’t recall their moral indignation when any number of corporations shared their support for it!

I agree with Chick-Fil-A Prez.. America is, and has invited the wrath of God upon themselves by this perversion of marriage between two of the same sex. I am one who is sick of listening to these obnoxious lesbians and homosexuals scream and squawk about how hard done by they are. Go live your perverted lives, and shut up, no one cares if you are offended. You offend others by your offensive behavior, and cramming it down the throats of everyone in the nation, you are obnoxious, offensive in every way possible to be offensive. Chic-fil-A, according to a recent business report, increased its sales a whopping 13% over last years sales, making it the 10th fastest growing restaurant in the nation. In the middle of this Depression, Chic-fil-A is prospering, and they're not even open 7 days a week. How's that for honoring God???

Mr. Cathy also had the marriage issue 100% correct. I can physiologically prove this with the human body. God created Adam from the dust of the earth. He took one of Adam's ribs and created Eve. Check this for yourself…Males have 12 ribs…Women have 13. God created male and female for each other to procreate and as is obvious without this combination procreation is physically impossible. Could it be another Satanic form of birth control ? Mr. Cathy is right when he ponders whether the homos are begging for the wrath of God to be demonstrated to mankind. That's fine if they get theirs but as the Bible says…"The rain falls on the just AND the unjust." We will be caught in the crossfire and that's not something I would EVER chose !
Just as I boycott supporters of Gay Parades, I will be certain to spend more $ at Chick-Fil-A.

This “Gay pride”……..exactly WHAT is there to be so “proud” of in being a perverted sexual deviant? I have heard this argument that God will destroy America because of homosexuality. Question. Would God destroy His own because of the action.of some ungodly people? In Genesis, Abraham secures a promise from God to not destroy Sodom if there could be found 10 righteous men. God does not destroy His own. Unfortunately for Sodom., there were no righteous people. Where are the righteous men in America and why are they so insecure in their right standing with God that they fear His wrath? Can there not be 10 righteous to "stand in the gap" for their fellow Christians? Just asking?
