Barack Obama 8 SC Cardinal Suing Obama Invites Him, Romney To Dinner

NEW YORK (AP) — New York Roman Catholic Cardinal Timothy Dolan is suing the Obama administration, but he’s inviting President Barack Obama to dinner anyway.

Dolan has asked both Obama and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to attend the annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation charity dinner on Oct. 18, a spokesman for the Archdiocese of New York said Tuesday.

Romney has accepted. The Obama campaign hasn’t said publicly whether the president will attend, but Dolan’s spokesman, Joseph Zwilling, said Obama has accepted, too.

The Archdiocese of New York is among more than 40 Catholic organizations, charities and schools that are suing over Obama’s mandate that employers provide health insurance that covers birth control. Evangelical, Jewish and other religious leaders have joined U.S. bishops in pressing for a broader religious exemption, including for faith-affiliated hospitals, colleges and social service groups.

As the head of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Dolan has said the White House policy is “strangling” the church. Obama has offered an accommodation, but Catholic leaders and others have said the changes don’t go far enough.

Ed, I think the bishop is doing what the Bible calls “Turning the other cheek”. It may be that even Christ may approve of this. I don’t know that for sure, but by doing this, the Diseased Insult in Office can’t say that he didn’t get the same opportunity as Romney to discuss his dreadful “law” with the Catholic bishop. He can never say that the Catholics didn’t try to convince him that his edict is not wrong, because they have given him every chance in the book to back down and “change” his stance. I do not think that this invitation and dinner will make any difference with this wicked, evil and perverted being in office, because he is arrogant, and is full of pride. “pride goeth before a fall, and a stiff neck before destruction”. Those are words from the Bible, and they fit this arrogant being to a T! He is convinced that he truly is THE ONE who knows all and sees all! And with such an attitude, when he falls, it will be hard, and with some serious consequences. If God is a God of wrath and vengence, as the Bible says, then when God takes His wrath and meets out His justice upon this most arrogant being, the end results will be terrible indeed. If I beleive in anything, it is that God is not to be mocked, as this “one” mocks Him on a daily basis, and when God has had quite enough, there will be a payday for any who continue to do as this being, this evil and wicked “man” is doing. I would not want to be anywhere near him, it, when his/it’s payday comes to pass. As the Bible states, our days are numbered upon the earth, and I truly beleive that Obama’s days are numbered. As the kings of Persia, and other such ones then, when they had mocked the God of Israel long enough, God sent down his judgement upon them, and it was not in any sense of the word, “good”. The wrath of God is a terrible thing to behold, and Obama’s day, as well as America’s day will come. One may be sooner than the other, which might save our country, providing we repent and change our own wicked ways. As for Obama, let us hope and pray that God’s patience runs out soon! Because if it doesn’t run out soon, we will all suffer the consequences of not only our own sins, but of his also.
