Boom: Liberals Take Another Stab At Ted Nugent, But Man Did He Get the Last Word

As part of an ongoing effort among activists across the nation, yet another Ted Nugent concert has been cancelled due to allegations that the veteran rock star and conservative icon is a racist.

Following the decision by the owners of an Idaho casino to call off his upcoming show on the Indian reservation, another Native American tribe has come to a similar consensus regarding the controversial star.

According to a leader of the Puyallup Tribe, two upcoming concerts at the Emerald Queen Casino in Washington have now been scrapped.

“The First Amendment gives people the right [to] free speech,” said Lawrence LaPointe, the tribal council’s vice president; “but I think racism is intolerable and not acceptable here.”

He indicated that the decision came following a number of complaints by locals.

“I don’t want to take away his right to say what he wants to say,” LaPointe insisted; “but we don’t need it here.” As with the abrupt cancellation announced earlier in the week, the Puyallup Tribe offered no concrete examples to support its allegations. These two tribes are not alone in castigating the musician.

He recently sounded off against his detractors, calling them “unclean vermin” in one interview and calling their opposition “a badge of honor.”

Addressing the issue in another forum this week, he alleged that backlash against his appearances is based on his politically correct ideology.

“The liberal Democrats and the Huffington Post and the Saul Alinsky gang, they hate that I’m so effective,” he said, citing his decades-long work in support of advancing Second Amendment rights. “I have expanded and increased hunting opportunities all across the globe. So I am able to, dare I say, perfectly articulate my case. They are not.”
