Although they have been derided by the media, the “birthers” — Americans who deny Barack Obama was born in the United States — are filing lawsuits in the months leading up to the 2012 election threatening to deny the president a place on several state ballots.
In Alabama, the media report:
President Obama has a forged birth certificate and is ineligible to be on the Alabama Democratic Primary ballot because he is not a citizen, a Birmingham man has said in a lawsuit filed in Jefferson County Circuit Court.
The suit asks Circuit Judge Helen Shores Lee to hold an evidentiary hearing and issue an injunction against Mark Kennedy, the Alabama Democratic Party chairman, from putting Obama on the March 13 party primary ballot.
The plaintiff, Albert E Hendershot Jr., claims Obama is ineligible to serve as president — based on, among other things, an allegedly illegal Connecticut Social Security number — and thus should not be listed on the state presidential ballot.
In Georgia, five plaintiffs have filed suit to keep the president off the ballot. One of those to file suit in the state is American Independent Party presidential candidate Dr. Laurie Roth, who is represented by Orly Taitz.
As in Alabama, the president’s birth certificate is the primary objection.
The White House may believe it covered its tracks by releasing an online version of his birth certificate, which many believe is fraudulent. But if the president cannot prove his identity beyond a reasonable doubt, he may not be on the ballot in certain Southern states.
Not bad work for a movement the media had written off the minute the “long form” birth certificate hit the web.

Twenty years ago, I copied off the official Gove site, document 7277. it was written in 1961 and is the plans for a global government. If you put simply "7277" on your browser, it'll bring this document up and give you the answer as to why Obama appeared out of nowhere and was allowed to spend millions of dollars to hide his idenity and as it seems, with the blessings of our government. Birthers are not saying that Obama was not born in the United States (maybe he was and maybe he wasn't) they are saying that he is not a "Natural Born Citizen" and thus ineligible to be POTUS. He needs two US citizen parents which he does not have since his father was British.
That's absolutely right!! Even if he was born born in Hawaii, like he says, he still is not elgible to be president according to the constiution. Unfortuntely our weak spined congress will do nothing about it. I am so happy that the troops are coming home. My greatest fear is that Ob will try to use them against our citizens when he declares martial law. I feel it's not IF he will, only just when. Please PRAY for our country and Ob's removal

They are both right. You don't seem to understand the SCOTUS rulings in place at the time of his birth.
Even if he was an American citizen, he renounced it when he became a Indonesian citizen to attend public school. His attendance of this school is fact.
If he did regain a US citizenship upon his return at 10 years old, he would no longer be considered "natural born".
You see, either way, he is holding the office of the President illegally.
A certificate Of A live birth is not now nor has it ever been a Birth Certificate, and at the very least Obama has duel citizenship as his father was a British subject at the time of his birth which transfers Citizenship based on ancestry. which he has yet to renounce also making him ineligible for the presidency.

Judging from some of the comments, it doesn’t look like this is much about citizenship at all — wanting to pull big ears and smack purple lips. It’s kinda sad that people spend so much time frothing about what they don’t like about a person instead of learning about the laws of the country they live in and want to protect so much.

The myth that President Obama was not born in America originated with right-wingers who are so poorly educated that they had no idea if or when Hawaii was admitted to the Union. They also are too uninformed to understand the concept of dual citizenship. Many Americans have dual citizenship. @Rocky, they "Myth" actually started when his paternal grandmother said she was present at his birth. If she was indeed at his birth then he was born in Kenya. This becomes an issue because his father was a British Citizen and his mother was "underage". So, if he was born in Kenya he is not a natural born citizen and is not eligible to be president according to our CONSTITUTION, forgive us "right wingers" for believing in this document.
Look up Jus sanguinis in the USA naturalization laws. There is no clause stating both parents must be citizens nor is there an "underage" clause either. There are two ways to be born a natural citizen of the USA: jus soli and jus sanguinis, which translates to "right of soil" and "right of blood" and there is no requirement to fulfill both.
What is the date of the naturalization laws you're quoting? AFTER the date of obummers birth. You must adhere to the laws in place at the time of birth.
Natural born WAS ruled upon by SCOTUS and these laws are what obama is bound by.
Actually you don't need 2 parents to be a "natural born citizen". If you are born in the US you are natural born. The issue of dual citizenship comes up as he lived in Indonesia with his mother and step-father until he was 10 and he traveled to Pakistan in 1981 when it was illegal for an American citizen to do so. Thus what passport he used is in question.
The issue of the definition of "natural born" has been ruled upon by SCOTUS. In their rulings they state natural born is a child born of citzen parentS (plural).
