STUNNING: This Obama Scheme Is Shutting Down Legal Gun Stores

WASHINGTON — Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX 36) demanded the Obama administration suspend the Justice Department’s “Operation Choke Point,” in which government agents are pressuring banks to close the accounts of legal and law-abiding businesses engaged in commerce contrary to the political views of Barack Obama.

“(T)he Justice Department has launched Operation Choke Point, a credit card fraud probe focusing on banks and payment processors. The threat of enforcement has prompted some banks to cut ties with online gun retailers, even if those companies have valid licenses and good credit histories,” The Washington Times reported Monday morning.

“Under Obama’s ‘Operation Choke Point,’ banks are complaining that government agents are threatening them because they service legal businesses engaged in legal commerce. Often, the customer is a gun retailer or other businesses that poses no risk, but differs with Obama’s political agenda,” said Stockman.

Thousands of gun retailers have had their bank accounts forcibly closed, despite engaging in no illegal activity whatsoever.

“This is just the latest example of the Obama administration exploiting executive power to target political opponents. It would appear the only purpose of Operation Choke Point is to choke the life out of businesspeople with political views that may differ from the President,” said Stockman.

“Unable to pass gun control in Congress, Obama is seeking to stamp out gun ownership through the kind of threats and harassment you’d expect from Third World dictators or Mafia bosses,” said Stockman.

“Targeting the bank account of gun retailers engaged in peaceful and legal commerce is a blatant violation of civil liberties. Under Obama, the United States are becoming a banana republic. The Obama administration must suspend Operation Choke Point and instead focus its resources on criminal enterprises,” said Stockman.

Movie Review: “A Long Way Off”

Faith-based films have never been stronger than they have in 2014. Four films in a row each did between $50 and $100 million: “Son of God,” “Noah,” “God’s Not Dead”, and “Heaven is For Real”–and the year isn’t even half over yet!

The next formidable faith-based film on the near horizon is “A Long Way Off,” the first in a series of modern re-tellings of bible stories. This initial story is based on The Parable of The Prodigal Son as told by Jesus Christ in the biblical book of Luke, chapter 15.

Poised for a Father’s Day weekend release, “A Long Way Off”  begins with handsome Jake Abraham (JASON BURKEY of “October Baby” and “Mom’s Night Out”) works for his father (JOHN DIEHL of “Stargate” and “Jurassic Park 3″), a successful produce farmer in North Carolina.  A recent college graduate with a strong interest in technology, Jake doesn’t like agri-business very much; and he’s desperate to leave for greener pastures in the big city.

To his shock and delight, his father, sensing his son’s frustration, suddenly offers Jake his inheritance.  Bidding farewell to his dad; his brother, Seth (DAVE BLAMY of the “Mandie” series); their loyal secretary, Mrs. Grey (EDIE MCCLURG of “Ferris Buehler’s Day Off”); and their ranch hand, Jose (ROBERT AMAYA of “Courageous” and “Mom’s Night Out”), Jake heads to the city, ready to invest his recent windfall in a series of sharp stock market moves.

But rather than start slowly with a modest apartment and basic transportation, Jake checks into a swanky hotel and buys a pricey Italian sports car.  He later purchases a condominium and spends his nights wining and dining a series of women he meets in bars and nightclubs.

One of his new girlfriends is Laura (JOHANNA JOWETT of “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”), who encourages Jake to invest in a speculative movie project.  She also introduces him to her shady boyfriend, Frank (ROBERT DAVI of “Goonies”, “Die Hard,” and “License to Kill”), who is interested in Jake’s stock market acumen.

Jake’s morning ritual is to stop off at the local coffee house, where he has a friendly relationship with a beautiful and wholesome barista named Summer (ZOE MYERS of “Anchorman 2″ and “Destiny Road”), who is very much attracted to Jake.

However, any potential for a relationship is scuttled by Jake’s irresponsible lifestyle and his dalliance with Laura.  Meanwhile, Jake doesn’t bother to keep in touch with his family and isn’t aware that Abraham Farms is having financial trouble until Summer leaves him a newspaper clipping.

Determined to make a killing in the stock market, Jake places the bulk of his remaining inheritance (and a chunk of Frank’s money) in a video game company. Disaster strikes when the video game company’s stock trading is halted by the SEC, an event that essentially dissolves Jake’s inheritance. Since Frank jumped into the stock too, he’s outraged and ready to kill Jake unless the money is repaid.

Broke, desperate, and eating out of a dumpster, Jake is befriended by Al (RUSTY MARTIN, SR. from “Courageous” and “Princess Cut”), a homeless man who helps him secure a job at a local pig farm,  just as in the biblical account in Luke.  There, in the mud, Jake is taught to realize that he can still go home, and that family love and forgiveness are not as ephemeral as the stock market.

This Congressman Just Epically Shamed Democrat Megafunder Over Terrorist Support

WASHINGTON – The civic arm of Democratic Party megafunder MoveOn removed from its website Friday a petition supporting Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram after Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX 36) brought public attention to it.

“After accusing General David Petraeus of betraying the United States, Democrat party megafunder MoveOn continues to be a hub of hate and terrorist support,” said Stockman. “Along with pumping millions of dollars into Democrat campaign accounts MoveOn also hosts numerous petitions supporting Palestinian terrorists and anti-American tirades. What is their money buying?”

“MoveOn spent $21.6 million on programs in 2012, with 100 percent of its PAC contributions going to Democrats. No wonder Hillary Clinton waited until after the election to finally designate Boko Haram a terrorist group,” said Stockman. “The Democrat left hasn’t met an armed anti-American group they don’t like.”

Democrats continued to sign the petition urging the State Department not to list Boko Haram as a terrorist organization, even after the group abducted over 200 Nigerian girls and threatened to sell them into sexual slavery.

“The petition – which received its first signature on June 20, 2012, and continued to be signed by Friday evening – was uncovered by Stockman, who asked MoveOn to apologize for hosting an online petition opposing a terrorist designation for Boko Haram, whose name translates as ‘western education is a sin,’” World Net Daily’s Garth Kant reported Saturday.

“In fact, the petition reflected the same apparent stance Hilary Clinton had taken until a few days ago, when she, too, suddenly joined the chorus condemning the terrorists,” Kant reported. “Before that, the former secretary of state had steadfastly refused to designate Boko Haram as a terrorist group, even after it bombed United Nations headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, in 2011.”

In 2007, the group purchased a full page ad in the New York Times referring to U.S. General David Petraeus as “General Betray Us” and accusing him of fabricating information. Both the U.S. House and Senate formally denounced the group. The group also featured a campaign ad combining images of George W. Bush and Adolf Hitler.

Michelle Obama Needs A Reality Check, STAT

Editor’s note: This piece originally appeared at

Michelle Obama does her sad duck face and holds up a piece of paper that reads “#bringbackourgirls” to try to solve an international crisis.

This woman needs a reality check. She is the first lady of the United States Of America, and she’s using social media like a teenager. It’s embarrassing and extremely disrespectful of the missing girls in Nigeria and their families.

Same-Sex Marriage Advocate Involved In GOP Congressional Campaign

MANASSAS, VA, 4/7/14 – Delegate Bob Marshall, a member of the Virginia Assembly, is strongly pressing Barbara Comstock to return her share of $400,000 in campaign contributions raised at a recent New York City fundraiser.

The fundraising event was hosted by Paul Singer, the billionaire same-sex marriage advocate, for Comstock and two other Republican women running for Congress.

Marshall cited a Washington Post blog about the fundraiser. (See Both Marshall and Comstock are Republican candidates for the seat being vacated by Congressman Frank Wolf in northern Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.

“Donors support the candidates they believe will support their agendas,” Marshall said. “You don’t see pro-gun groups donating to gun control candidates.

“How can Barbara Comstock take so much money and convince Republican voters she upholds the Republican Party platform advocating traditional marriage?”

The GOP platform asserts, “We believe that marriage, the union of one man and one woman, must be upheld as the national standard.”

Marshall said that Comstock previously accepted $80,000 from Paul Singer through 2013. Singer has spent more than $10 million on homosexual marriage causes in the United States and elsewhere, according to a Feb. 18 Politico article.

Comstock also has accepted $18,700 from attorney Ted Olson, who has been hired by Singer to file lawsuits to overturn state traditional marriage laws. Olson undid California’s Proposition 8 and recently called a court ruling invalidating Virginia’s Marriage Amendment a “beautiful decision.”

“Barbara Comstock attempts to dismiss Singer’s targeted largesse by pointing out other candidates who have accepted his donations,” Marshall said. “However, she fails to reveal that those other candidates accepted Singer’s money before his same-sex crusade began in 2010.”

Marshall said he wonders whether well- known Catholics who support Comstock – such as former Sen. Rick Santorum (R., Pa.) and a former Vatican ambassador – are aware of these donations.

“I doubt they would be comfortable with this,” Marshall said. “I hope they, too, ask her to return this money.”

Marshall observed that the homosexual lobby engages in unseemly tactics that are more about “submission” than tolerance, such as bringing about the recent firing of Brandon Eich, Mozilla’s chief executive officer, because he contributed $1,000 in 2006 to support California’s Proposition 8 affirming traditional marriage.

“Conservative and Republican business owners and officers well might be subjected to gay hiring quotas if Comstock is elected to Congress and if she votes for the so-called gay ‘non-discrimination bill’ in Congress,” Marshall said.

“Unless Comstock gives the money back today, her disavowals of Singer’s gay marriage influence will ring hollow with most Republicans. And they still might ring hollow even if Comstock returns the money because the question is raised about why she sought and accepted so much money from a gay marriage advocate in the first place.”

Delegate Bob Marshall, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates since 1991, is one of six candidates vying for the Republican nomination for Congress in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District. A GOP “Firehouse Primary” to choose the nominee is being held on Saturday, April 26.

The voting will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at just ten polling locations throughout the 10th District, which includes parts of Fairfax and Prince William Counties; all of Loudoun, Frederick, and Clarke Counties; and the Cities of Manassas, Manassas Park, and Winchester.

For more information, visit or call Delegate Marshall on his cell phone at 571-409-0588.
