All the bleating and hand-wringing from the liberal psychopaths about America’s wasteful and gluttonous use of natural energy resources are lies.
According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), America’s total energy consumption per Real Dollar of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is lower than it has ever been (and less than half of what it was in 1973. )
The EIA has released a report proving that America is now the most energy efficient country in known history. The ratio of energy used to the cost of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) dollar is at a low point never reached before.
Last year, America used 6,990 BTUs of petroleum, natural gas, nuclear power, and renewable energy per actual dollar of GDP. We produced 2.2% more real GDP in 2012 than the preceding year, but 2012 saw a reduction of America’s energy consumption of 2.45%, providing a net reduction of 4.6% in total energy use as compared in GDP.
What these numbers say is that the American spirit of “we can do it bigger and more efficiently” is very much alive and growing. The complete report shows that to derive our GDP, America uses less than half of the energy she did in the 1970s.
We are twice as energy efficient now because of technological innovation and improved delivery systems, the majority of which have been brought to us by our private sector and not Barack Obama’s government.
The very word “efficiency” encapsulates the American spirit of entrepreneurship and is the antithesis of what government gives us. This has never been truer as during the years of Obama’s administration, when he gave billions of our tax dollars to phony “green” companies whose only real purpose was kicking back campaign money to Democrats.
Without government interference, America has been a brilliant example of how to use the energy natural resources God gave us.
The numbers don’t lie. Free enterprise practiced by a free people can, and always will, do things better and cheaper than what comes from a government-managed system.
Keep these facts in mind when you hear the lies about “green this” and “green that” being better than free enterprise practiced by a free people. They never have been true and never will be true.
