It’s come to that. America’s government is out of control, running roughshod over the rights of its citizens and spending us into oblivion. Why? What’s in it for the government?
Mark Levin’s “Liberty Amendments” (explained within his book “The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Public”), may just be what Uncle Sam ordered to fix our Constitutional Republic. Recently, Levin was interviewed by Sean Hannity.
Hannity asked Levin, “You believe America is now in a post-Constitutional period and this was anticipated by our Framers in 1787, and there is a mechanism that they have created that would allow Amendments to start in the States?”
Levin responded with, “You look at the Government today and it’s not really a Representative Republic.” Levin points out that America has become “unmoored” from the Constitution, and that much is absolutely clear. He provides examples of this as well.
He then tells us how it happened. “For 100 years the Progressive movement, the statists, have been chiseling away and chiseling away at the Constitutional construct and it’s time for Conservatives and other Americans to say, you know what? They’ve succeeded.”
We’ve known for some time that many within all levels of our government – possibly beginning most notably with Woodrow Wilson and his Marxist chief advisor, Edward Mandell House – have been pushing America toward Communism. The natural question to ask is: why has this been the case? If there have been groups of people who wanted to overwhelm America’s system so that we moved away from our original tethering to the Constitution, there has to be a reason. The reason can’t be simply because they wanted to do that, or because they thought it was a great idea. It has to go much deeper.
According to people like Daniel Estulin, Dr. John Coleman, and numerous others, a plan has been afoot that has endeavored to gain control of every major society throughout the world, including America’s. Again, why? Estulin explains that the goal is a one-world company (not so much a one-world government). We’ve heard it expressed as a new world order by many.
A one-world company would allow the elite to be completely transnational. Borders would not matter. People would not matter. The only thing that would matter would be the elite’s ownership of this “company,” which would allow them to have complete control of the world’s economic system, rather than be controlled by it.
It would appear that this is exactly where things are going, too. Certainly, in my view, the Bible supports the idea that this will be the case toward the end of this age.
If that is happening, then Mark Levin’s ideas may be good ones if they catch on and if people start to put the plan into action. Levin believes this can happen if people will specifically reacquaint themselves with several portions of the Constitution. Specifically, he believes “Article V and specifically the second part of Article 5, which is the Amendment process” will help us get out from the problems we are now facing as a nation.
Article V discusses the ability of Congress or the individual states to create amendments to the Constitution. “The Framers thought, some of them in particular, that we might reach this point with an oppressive centralized government. Look at the Constitution. It is written to prevent this. They feared that politicians would lack virtue and we would reach this state and so they left us a legacy.”
It’s clear that our government is either so corrupt or so overwhelmed that it cannot provide its own help. It is mired in bureaucracy and red tape that is slowly strangling it. Nothing good is being accomplished. “We can beg Congressmen and Senators to reform themselves all we want. It doesn’t appear they are prepared to do it.”
Ultimately, Levin’s book is a series of so-called “liberty” amendments to restore the proper power structure to America, which has been muddied and hidden in bureaucracy created by an ever-enlarging federal government. He speaks of term limits, which would include twelve years in total, either in the House or Senate. After that, the person is out. Others come in. No more lifetimes of being on the taxpayer doles as a Congressional “representative” that, after a while, winds up representing special interests.
Levin also speaks of the need to limit the growth of the federal government and how much the government has literally exploded in growth under Republican and Democrat administrations. It needs to stop because eventually, it will collapse.
Levin also discusses an amendment that will limit federal bureaucracy (the amount of laws created each year), as well as an amendment to promote free enterprise. To this, Hannity responded with “The bottom-line here – there is recourse within the Constitution itself, and it begins with state legislatures and the Amendment process can happen. In other words, you believe this is the answer to those who say ‘what do we do?’”
Conservatives know that something needs to happen, or our Constitutional Republic will continue sinking. It seems that this is what the elite want to happen so that, as the image on the dollar shows, the phoenix will rise from the ashes as a new world order, complete with a one-world company.
None of this would be easy, but it is a road map to regain control of a government that is out of control. It’s something that needs to happen, or we will one day look back to be reminded about the time when America was still a country.
What is it you want? And how badly are you willing to fight for it? Mark Levin has some strong suggestions that are built on the very document that created this country, the United States Constitution. What better solution is there than one that already exists?
