WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans’ confidence in television news is at a new low by one percentage point, with 21% of adults expressing a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in it. This marks a decline from 27% last year and from 46% when Gallup started tracking confidence in television news in 1993.
The findings are from Gallup’s annual update on confidence in U.S. institutions, conducted June 7-10 this year. As such, the findings preceded the erroneous initial reports by cable-news networks CNN and Fox News regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 28 decision about the constitutionality of the U.S. healthcare law.
Among 16 U.S. institutions tested, television news ranks 11th, following newspapers in 10th place. The 25% of adults who express a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in newspapers is down slightly from 28% last year. Confidence in newspapers is now half of what it was at its peak of 51% in 1979.

Our household hasn't watch MSM news for well over a year. If we do try to stomach it, it only lasts about 3 min. before we shut it off again. We have trouble with not only what they deliver but how they deliver. It's a shame we can't watch or listen without being told what and who to believe. Just give me the facts (if they remember what that is) and let me decide. Oh, that reminds me: I don't have cable so don't have Fox either. Understand Fox is leaning more to the left anyway.
I wonder why. Could it be that the news media outlets are using the power of the press to condition us? Just who are the talking heads (so-called experts) who work in groups on news shows and deliver their opinions which are carefully written so in their arguements between each other, they successfully slant the news and get people worked up over those issues they steer us toward, or away from. An example, oil prices dropped to 83 dollars and they tell us that gas prices dropped the month of July, yet at 83 dollar oil, the prices should be below 2 dollars now like they were before obama. What if the news media were corporate owned and controlled by huge corporations that control prices, politics and even governments?!!! They would say that they have the finest government money CAN BUY. It is fitting that the American People don't trust Our government or the news media. Protect our Internet freedoms because there are people high up who want to shut us up so they can limit the avenues of real truth to further their propaganda agenda. FOREVER SOVEREIGN, FOREVER FREE!
I can't remember the last time I watched the news on TV. Television is only good to watch a movie or show. Other than that, I'll get my news from the source.
The only news shows I watch are on Fox they seem to be about the fairest.If the news programs were honest about reporting we wouldn't be in this mess obutthole gotten us into.

If you lost your loved one in the Towers and you were in a state of shock and remorse, I'm sure the last thing you would want to do is get on your computer and create a poster and run down to Manhattan to post it!!!

Carl Manning, you had me until you started bashing Israel and the Jewish people. There may be some kind of CIA thing going on, but when you start with the “Zionist” garbage, you lose your credibility with a lot of people. If you beleive in God, and in His word, then you must beleive what He says about Israel belonging to Him, and that anyone who touches His people will be punished. I beleive every word in my Bible, and I do not care to cross God Almighty on the issue of His people, the Jews. To do so is suicide of a SuperNatural means. Leave Israel alone. Leave the Jews alone. Show me one instance where I said Israel did not belong to God. I am a God-fearing Christian to the core, and I never denigrated Israel per se; I denigrated the terrorist regime that has been running the State of Israel since Menachem Begin became her Prime Minister under the Likud Party on June 21st, 1977. Satan has you and many other Christians completely hoodwinked with your unquestioning loyalty to "the leadership" of the State of Israel.
I would also point out to you that in the Jewish Talmud, which isn't even entirely Biblical but is rather a collection of "wisdom" from Jewish rabbis during the Babylonian captivity, there is a section known as the "Halacha(h)" which is taught to IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) and Mossad agents. The Halachah deals with treatment of goyim (Gentiles). It teaches Jews that the goyim are equal to "cattle" and the purpose of goyim is to be servants of the Chosen People, the Jews. The Halachah therefore justifies not only usury against goyim but also even murder of goyim and even murder of the children of goyim because "they can grow up to bne your enemies". I'm not making this stuff up; it is highly suppressed by the Jewish-owned media. This mindset is how they justified morally the 9/11 operation on our predominately goyim nation, the USA.
Please understand that NOT ALL JEWS interpret the Halachah this way. There are Jews who despise the current evil leadership of Israel just as I do, but who love the State of Israel. There are Jews who despise how the current evil leadership of Israel is treating the Christian Palestinians like dogs.
