A Question For Rush Limbaugh

Reacting to the Republican cave in on the shutdown and the defunding of Obamacare, Rush Limbaugh, in a nine minute diatribe on his radio show republished by World Net Daily, complained bitterly that Republicans had been “hoodwinked” by various political tricks played by Democrats and by the media.

Hoodwinked?

Really?

Seriously, Rush?  Do you think the Republicans were “hoodwinked” into abandoning their ostensible purpose of defunding Obamacare?

And do you think they were “hoodwinked” into voting to increase the already staggering debt limit so that both parties can continue their immoral, unconstitutional destruction of American government, the American economy, and the American culture?

Do you really believe, Rush, that the Republican leadership was “fooled” somehow?  Do you really think that they somehow misread the Constitution, somehow seeing a phantom sentence or phantom clause in Article One, Section Eight that authorized them to legislate health care?

Is it really likely that this is all some mistake and given a chance to do it all over, the Republican party would vote and act differently?

We don’t think so, Rush.

Isn’t it more likely that those who have been “hoodwinked” are those who put their trust in the Republican party and the Godless conservative movement?

Isn’t it beyond time to return to the true American View of law and government, acknowledging the Creator God as the Supreme Judge of the Universe and the written Constitution as the Supreme law of the Land?

Rush could be wrong because when good old George Porgy was president he spent like there was no tomrrow. It mat be possible that they caved so they will spend if they take over.I don't see anyone in congress trying to curb waste.Don't forget McConnell got the dam in Kentucky when he caved.Next time around Dirty Dingy Harry will get his project passed.

While George might have spent while he was in office, he did preside over a $500 Billion deficit, half that of the $1.1 Trillion now and had returned the economy to growth in the fourth quarter of 2001 and continued to grow for 24 consecutive quarters. The economy grew at a rapid pace of 7.5 percent above inflation during the third quarter of 2003 – the highest since 1984. Also, from 2005 to 2007, tax revenues grew faster than the economy. The ratio of receipts to GDP rose to 18.8 percent in 2007, above the 40-year average.
What this means is he brought in more than he spent. Don't forget old Georgie DID inherent the unprecedented triple shock of a recession following the dot-com bust, economic disruption due to the terrorist attacks of September 11, and corporate accounting scandals. All of which CAN be directly traced to Clinton. He had the right to blame Clinton but didn't.
I'm not saying I loved everything old Georgie did, but when it came to the economy, we were EXTREMELY prosperous. It was Bush's policies toward oil/natural gas wells that is keeping our economy afloat now.
Also, following his 2003 tax relief, we had 52 months of uninterrupted job growth, the longest run on record.

One last thing, I thought the same about McConnell till Hannity did an interview that stated facts. The dam was approved years ago and had nothing to do with the crisis. Do me a favor and check into it so you know what I'm talking about.
You know I attack when due. McConnell is 'innocent' in this. Even Reid said so.

There's no doubt Repugs sold us out. It just wasn't a 'windfall' for Kentucky.

      • Edwardkoziol says:

Seeks I heard that to but why if this dam deal was introduced years ago why wasn't something done about it years ago. They wait for a crisis to pass something to make it look like Mr. Peepers McConnell is getting this because he voted with the democraps.Yes I know Georgie inherented the triple shock but I'm just pissed that it seemed like the last 2 yrs.when the dems controled congress he just signed everything.Bush didn't do a damn thing about illegals because his bro is married to a hispanic. We did prosper under Bush but I'll never vote for Jeb because he likes Obutthole in the things he says.

        • Seeks_the_truth says:

That's what I meant when I said I didn't like all the things he did. I hated where he stood on illegals for one. It's just under GW everyone who wanted one had a good job and made good money.

About the dam, it's not actually McConnell's project. In fact, it's not about 'spending'. It's only APPROVAL for spending for the Energy committee. Like I said, I was pissed at McConnell thinking he sold us out but when I heard Hannity and then checked the facts, I'm big enough to say when I'm wrong and I was.
I know you trust Breitbart so here's their take on it: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/10/1

  2. once again people misinterpret what Rush said.

    Next time pay attention

They were hoodwinked Republicans are not Godless. They are patriotic and fighting everyday to up hold the Constitution of the United States. Which the current President and his thugs are not doing. Obama has violated the Constitution so many times. If he were a republican and white he would have been impeached long ago.
