7 of the 8 Missing Iowa Precincts Voted Against Romney in 2008

GOP officials have reported that Rick Santorum won the Iowa caucuses by 34 votes. However, votes in eight precincts will not be counted — and Mitt Romney lost seven of the eight precincts in 2008.

Officials say these eight districts did not report their results on the official “Form E” receipt. Several of the precincts overwhelmingly favored Mike Huckabee four years ago, with three of them awarding Mitt Romney zero votes. An analysis of their 2008 Iowa caucuses results shows:

  • Cerro Gordo County’s Mason City Ward 2, Precinct 3. In 2008, Mike Huckabee won with 11 votes; Ron Paul, 10; Mitt Romney, zero (Fred Thompson, 4; John McCain, 5)
  • Emmet County’s Estherville Ward 2. Huckabee had 5 votes; Paul, 1; Romney 6 (Thompson, 5; McCain, 4)
  • Franklin County’s Geneva-Reeve. Huckabee won 7 votes; Paul, 6; Romney, zero (Thompson, 4)
  • Lee County’s Fort Madison 4A. Huckabee won 17 votes; Paul, zero; Romney, 4 (Thompson, 7)
  • Lee County’s Fort Madison 4B. Huckabee won 6 votes; Paul, 1; Romney, zero (Thompson, 1)
  • Lee County’s Franklin-Cedar-Marion. Huckabee won 26 votes; Paul, 5; Romney, 21 (Thompson, 9; McCain, 9)
  • Lee County’s Washington-Green Bay-Denmark. Huckabee won 32 votes; Paul, 12; Romney, 13 (Thompson, 19; McCain, 11)
  • Pocahontas County’s Center-South Roosevelt-North Lincoln. Huckabee won 9 votes; Paul, 6; Romney, 2 (Thompson, 2; McCain, 2)

Total: Huckabee, 113 votes; Paul, 41 votes; Romney, 46 votes.

In 2008, Fred Thompson garnered 51 votes in these precincts. John McCain, who did not seriously contest the states, got 72. Three voters preferred California Congressman Duncan Hunter, and there was one vote for Rudy Giuliani.

That means there were 167 evangelical/conservative votes; 41 Constitutionalist votes; 119 “moderate” votes.

Even correcting for Romney’s superior 2008 showing, it seems likely these counties would further skew the 2012 election for Rick Santorum.

Iowa's caucus is a joke. Their own people don't even take it serious enough to file the papers when the count is over.
The people who are running spent a lot of good money on ads. For what?
An inconclusive result that just causes more confusion.
Tell Iowa to get it right, or forget it. Especially in the day and age of instant electronic communication.
What's with this weeks later announcing they really don't know?
This is what I would expect out of something that Obama was running.

    • anti elite says:

Ya think, huh? Could it be that the same people who got Obama elected maybe have something to do with Romney? Hummm. Keep reasoning this one out…it will be obvious before long.

    • siteunseen says:

Recount or throw out Iowa votes. 8 precincts is a lot of precincts. Caucuses are a sham.

  2. Jim Barrus says:

    Wake up America.
Impeachment is a process that was established in the Constitution for our public servants to use in removing someone from office.
Our founding fathers knew that under our Common Law that We, the People, could bring someone before a Superior Common Law Court and make them answer about violations of their Oath of Office with We, the People.
Our Superior Common Law Court could then remove them from office.
If you really understood that the Constitution is nothing more than the "Handbook" that We, the People created to control our public servants, and it has nothing to do with us, our common laws, or our unalienable rights.
Remember, the sole purpose of a government, according to the Declaration of Independence, is to protect and defend our unalienable rights.
Please understand that the Declaration of Independence is the real document behind our country.
What date do we celebrate as the birth date of our country?
    July 4, 1776
    What happened on that date?
The Declaration of Independence was signed.
The Constitution was created some 11 years later.
The corrupt politicians, the evil judicial system, and other power hungry corrupt individuals have slowly dumbed us down to protect their wicked purposes.
Please, Please, Please, carefully read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and be sure you understand what they really say.

Voter fraud is just beginning. Wait until November – Obama will haul out his army: SIEU, Acorn, Black Panthers, felons, illegals and the dead will all vote. Washington State, with its mail in ballots has had voter fraud for years one of the reasons we have a liberal state. The Democrats, when losing (as in the 2004 Governors race) and afrer a third recount, "suddenly found lost votes"! We've had felons, illegals, duplicates ballots sent to the same person; the dead and even Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck have voted. So the winner …our Democrat governor!

  4. Captain America says:

Romney is the fake front runner becuse of what looks like voter fraud, to thrust him into the lead and have that psudo-momentum carry him into the white house, as a RINO on the loose.
They need, to have a fair election, start over from Iowa, and let the next states vote over based on real numbers, not the false start they got allowing voters to be pulled toward a fake front runner.

    • RioSam says:

Absolutely, couldn't agree more…..We the People demand a fair and just voting process
Also, how did Ron Paul who was polling only 2% behind Romney the day before the caucus, endup in third place….It's not the voters committing the fraud; it's in the vote tabulation reporting..

      • Henry says:

These statements that Romney has made about glboal warming aren’t the only problem with having him run in 2012.I plan a post next week on some of Romney’s other shortcomings.A RINO — if there ever was one.

    • Myrtlelinder says:

We stopped him in his tracks in SC, and accused of doing it through hate and fear. Maybe, the other states will do the same.

  5. Captain America says:

wait until the satellite controled diebold comptuer tamper machines get rolling, with their no paper trail, trust me results. This is just the beginning.

  6. Edwardkoziol says:

How convenient to loose the precincts that picked someone other than Romney. In my opinion Iowa is a joke and We should have one primary day for all the 57 states that Obummer said we have. This way who ever gets the nod and becomes president won't have to steal so much to recup what he or she shelled out to get the job.The evil one Obummer came in semi poor and now is worth 7 million dollars, all you libtards tell me how he did it.

The "Washington Mafia" will stop at nothing to make sure that no one upsets their applecart of greed and corruption.

  8. Virginia Paxton says:

With eight precincts votes missing how do we know who won in Iowa?I am a Ron Paul supporter and it looks like he's getting cheated because he loves our Constitution and peace.War mongers cant have someone like him as president.

    • RioSam says:

We don't! Thanks to the voter tabulation fraud!

    • siteunseen says:

There is so much fraud, we'll never know who really wins. McCain should never have gotten the Republican Nomination. It actually looked like a Huckabee win, but somehow got handed over to McCain. Now I'm a Ron Paul supporter, saw he was way ahead in the polls and then everyone panicked, and they practically said this Iowa Caucus won't count. We won't let him win. Guess what…they didn't let him win. 8 Counties never reported???? He was winning then he was 3rd. No way…no way.

  9. sam cotton says:

Why won't the American people just asmit that Romney is just another Obama, Newt is just for Newt, but Ron Paul is the only true American nominee which will restore ALL of AMERICAS Contitutional freedoms that we so badly need RESTORED!!!! if you call yourselves Americans, TRUE AMERICANS…. THEN VOTE FOR RON PAUL and Let's get Anerica back to where we need to be, the land of the brave, and HOME OF THE FREE!! and put an end to all the corrupt politicians in office who seriously do not deserve to be in there!!

  10. Gary C says:

Hopefully the flavor of the month is waning. I just hope that RINO Romney is the next drop out. Too many people saw the flavor of the month and yelled “YUCK”. If the Party nominates Romney then that will be proof that the Republicans are not seriou about winning the Presidency this time.

  11. vpertoso says:

I cannot believe that a group of savvy adults in the precincts did not put the votes on the proper form and submit the vote count on time. They must be mentally retarded or maybe the vote counts in the Precincts were in the 10s of millions and they ran out of time. (lol) Looks like the fix was in for Romney but the fixers did not expect that Sanatorium would win state wide anyway with 30+ votes. Well you Iowa Precincts running rascals you cannot steal them all. You know doesn't this smell to high heavens and aren't vote count screw ups like this happening all to often these days? I believe that Dictator Stalin once said that it was not important how the people voted. What was important is who counts the votes. I believe it was his people that always counted the votes and he always won. How about that.

  14. Myrtlelinder says:

I do hope we in the upcoming election will be much vigilant in counting all of the eh votes and not miss counting whole areas. and keep dead from voting.

  15. Starchild says:

All vote-counting should be done by hand, at the polling places immediately after voting ceases, in full view of any interested members of the public and the media, and simultaneously recorded by video and streamed live to the Internet where any interested members of the public and media can watch from their homes or offices. Electronic voting should be banned, and counting votes behind closed doors or in "secret locations" should be banned.
